Window Warriors

Most people see window displays at department stores or other retailers nearly every day and don't think much about what it takes to put them together. As this competition series proves, it takes a lot to get those windows ready for public display. Eight of the top window merchandising designers in America compete in the inaugural season of "Window Warriors" to build elaborate displays around a given theme -- such as festive, luxurious or shockingly unexpected -- and using materials associated with a major retail brand. The designer who makes it through the weekly eliminations to win the competition takes home a grand prize that includes $100,000, a contract to design displays for a premier mall developer, and a chance to design a holiday display at a major New York department store.
