The document plans for a massive expansion of offshore wind

Greenpeace has a growing list of organisations calling for the government of the United Kingdom, the protection of The Environment in the centre of a post-Covid-19 economic stimulus package

The Campaign group has produced a detailed "Manifesto" with the measures for the promotion of clean transport and smart power.

The document follows a similar call from some of the UK's most powerful business leaders at the beginning of This Week .

last week, the Prime Minister also expressed a similar ambition.

Boris Johnson said he wanted to see a "" After Covid-19, and "we owe it to Future Generations to build-back-better".

The Manifest also contains measures to support the protection of nature, green building, and The Creation of an economy in which virtually everything is re-used.

Greenpeace says The Crisis has been to transform the UK a "once in a lifetime" opportunity to live, travel and work.

He added that The Plan to secure hundreds of thousands of jobs.

Green-business

On Monday, More Than 200 Chefs from some of the UK's top companies - including HSBC, National Grid, and the Heathrow Airport Signed a letter to the Prime Minister and asked him to use the Covid-19 lockdown as a springboard

Many people will be surprised at how similar the recommendations of these two very different interest groups.

Greenpeace is Manifest, however, in much more detail.

It is a 62-page document with specific policy, spending and tax measures, the most of The British economy.

It calls on the government, the delivery of net-zero emissions commitment five years earlier, in the year 2045.

Controversial policy, The Manifesto contains measures for the promotion of clean transport

Many voters say they

But many of the policy Greenpeace proposes that the evidence is very controversial.

For example, motorists to improve air quality, according to a recent AA survey.

But many drivers maybe Greenpeace are reluctant to wander the proposals to radically redesign The Road network of favor and Cycling, on the suggestion that petrol and diesel cars are prohibited, by 2030, or that the fuel is increased, a duty constantly.

Many homeowners are reluctant to spend money to meet in order to upgrade their properties to high energy efficiency standards.

At the same time, many communities are likely to resist, to complement The Plan for a large increase in onshore wind and solar energy, a planned massive expansion of offshore wind parks - just a few things that unite the local communities, such as a proposal, in a series of Wind Turbines .

The Manifesto proposes The Creation of an economy in which virtually everything again

recycled But, says Greenpeace, tough measures such as this are essential if the government is to take meaningful action to combat Climate Change .

"the decisions our government makes now will define... or not, if we said success in The Fight against the climate emergency", John Sauven , Executive Director of Greenpeace.

"If we fail to get this right, we can never again stand a chance. Now is The Time for a green recovery, and we need action, not words. "

He says, there are huge dividends in terms of job creation, would be the program should be adopted.

Greenpeace has calculated that its plans for hundreds of thousands of new skilled jobs would create as well as help to Level Up the inequalities between communities in the UK.

Unique opportunity

The British government has already indicated that the protection of The Environment of the function-strong in any stimulus package.

Back in April, Boris Johnson , said a post-Covid-19-recovery plans should make efforts to "turn The Tide on Climate Change ".

meanwhile, the European Union has unveiled, what he called

last week, he said, to commit it is planned that a whopping €750bn (£667bn; $841bn), to The Recovery package.

"the Add says" in spending from future budgets and the total financial firepower of the European Commission , it swings almost €2tn (£1. 8tn; $2. 2tn).

tackling Climate Change the centrepiece of The Bloc 's recovery from the pandemic.

There are tens of billions of euros to homes more energy efficient, in order to de-carbonise electricity and phase out petrol-and diesel-powered vehicles.

the idea is That turbo-charging the European efforts to reduce carbon emissions to net zero by 2050.

"If we don't, we will be a lot more risk," Teresa Ribera , Deputy Prime Minister of Spain, told The Bbc .

"The Recovery should be green, or there will be no recovery, it's just a shortcut in the type of problems We Are currently faced with is. "
