About Homodihydrocapsaicin
Homodihydrocapsaicin is a capsaicinoid and analog and congener of capsaicin in chili peppers. Like capsaicin it is an irritant. Homodihydrocapsaicin accounts for about 1% of the total capsaicinoids mixture and has about half the pungency of capsaicin.
