About Dihydrocapsaicin
Dihydrocapsaicin is a capsaicinoid and analog and congener of capsaicin in chili peppers. Like capsaicin, it is an irritant. Dihydrocapsaicin accounts for about 22% of the total capsaicinoid mixture and has the same pungency as capsaicin.
