Wilson Sporting Goods' unique challenge to aspiring golf club designers across the U. S. -- invent a cutting-edge driver -- culminates in a first-of-its-kind TV series. "Driver vs. Driver" follows the trials and tribulations of the finalists -- 11 teams composed of golf professionals, former club manufacturers, college students, engineers and product designers -- competing each week to avoid elimination. Former Chicago Bears linebacker and avid golfer Brian Urlacher, former USGA Technical Director Frank Thomas, and President of Wilson Golf Tim Clarke head the judges' panel. Viewers see the advancing teams work with Wilson engineers to critique, refine and test their concepts, all while the judges eventually pick the one that will help golfers perform the best off the tee.
