Al D'Amato Life story
Alfonse Marcello D'Amato is an American lawyer and former New York politician. A Republican, he served as United States Senator from New York from 1981 to 1999. He subsequently founded a lobbying firm, Park Strategies. As of 2022, D'Amato is the last Republican to have represented New York in the U.S. Senate.
