Phoon Yew Tien (b. 21 August 1952, Singapore–),1 is a pioneer Singaporean composer. Initially trained in Chinese orchestral music, Phoon was subsequently educated in Western classical music. Phoon is a prolific composer and is Singapore's most recorded composer.
