Yaone

Background. In both anime and manga Saiyuki, Yaone is a yokai and Prince Kougaiji's personal apothecary. She comprises one of the four members of Kougaiji's elite Team, making up the same number as the Sanzo Party. She is a foil character to the healer of the Sanzo Party, Cho Hakkai.
