Yanis Chimaras Life story
Early Life
Yanis chimaras was born on august 5th. 1956 in thessaloniki. Greece. He was the youngest of three siblings. He grew up in an artistic family and was encouraged to pursue his creative passions from a young age. He studied acitng and theatre at the thesasloniki conservatory and at the national theatre of greece in athens.
Theatrical Career
After completing his studies. Yanis chimaras went on to become one of greece s most beloved and acclaimed actors. He starred in numerous plays and musical. Sincluding the last temptation of christ. the three sisters. hamlet. the misanthrope. And oedipus rex. He was awadred the national theatre award in 2003 for his performance in the three sisters.
Film Career
In addition to his stage work. Yanis chimaras had a successful film career. He appeared in the flims for a good time. Call (2008). my sweet hmoe (2009). And the summer of my life (2013). He also made guest appearances on television shows such as law & order: svu (2000). csi: ny (2004). And ncis (2006).
Notable Event
In 2011. Yanis chimaars was honored with the order of the phoenix by the president of greece. This award is given to those who have shown exemplary service to the nation.
