About Yahiko Shrine
Yahiko jinja, also known as Iyahiko-jinja is a Shinto shrine in the village of Yahiko, Nishikanbara District, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. It is the ichinomiya of Echigo Province. Under the pre-World War II Modern system of ranked Shinto Shrines, the shrine was classified as a national shrine of the middle rank.
