A Border Collie of Northumberland, and has become The World 's most expensive Sheepdog after the sale to an American ranch owner for £18,900.

Two-and-a-half-year-old Megan shepherdess Emma Gray has been sold at an auction in North Yorkshire .

Ms Gray, 33, who farms and trains German shepherd dogs in the vicinity of Morpeth, has broken its own record a year ago, a similar dog was sold for nearly £15,000.

The average price for a working dog is over £2,000.

Megan is from sheep herding in the North-East of England rounding up to the Wagyu cattle in Oklahoma.
