Wolf Hirth Life story
Wolfram Kurt Erhard Hirth was a German gliding pioneer and sailplane designer. He was a co-founder of Schempp-Hirth, still a renowned glider manufacturer. Hirth was born in Stuttgart, the son of an engineer and tool-maker.
