Włodzimierz Krzyżanowski Life story
Włodzimierz Bonawentura Krzyżanowski was a Polish American engineer, politician, and brigadier general in the Union Army. A Polish noble, he took part in the 1846 uprising against Prussia and left Poland after its suppression.
