William Penfro Rowlands Life story
William Penfro Rowlands was a Welsh schoolteacher and composer. Rowlands was born at Llys y Frân, Maenclochog, Pembrokeshire. Probably his best-known composition is the hymn-tune "Blaenwern", composed in 1905.
