William Ironmonger Life story
William Ironmonger, first child of Samuel Iremonger and Bridgett Cordray Iremonger, was born in England and migrated to Virginia in 1651, becoming a landowner in the Virginia Colony. On December 12, 1663, he purchased 700 acres in Lancaster County upon the head of the easternmost branch of Corrotoman River.
