Wallace Bruce Life story
Wallace Bruce was a travel writer, Chautauqua speaker, Freemason — and a fan of Abraham Lincoln and Robert Burns. A Hillsdale native, Wallace Bruce instigated the installation of a statue in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1893. "In memory of Scottish-American Soldiers." It depicts the slain president, Abraham Lincoln.
