About Walchia
Walchia is a fossil conifer, cypress-like genus found in upper Pennsylvanian and lower Permian rocks of Europe and North America. A forest of in-situ Walchia tree-stumps is located on the Northumberland Strait coast at Brule, Nova Scotia.
