Valery Maisky Life story
Valery Maisky was born in 1942 in Riga and obtained a Music PhD at the Leningrad Conservatory. In 1973 he emigrated to Israel. There he worked with Israeli orchestras, sometimes under the direction of Zubin Metha and Pinchas Zuckerman. He also served as the organist in Immanuel Church in Jaffa.
