Valentin Bianchi Life story
Valentin Lvovich Bianchi was a Russian ornithologist. He is honoured in the common and scientific names of Bianchi's warbler, described by Ernst Hartert. Of Italian descent, Bianchi graduated from the Imperial Military Medical Academy as a military doctor.
