V. V. Giri Life story
Varahagiri Venkata Giri was an Indian politician and activist who served as the fourth president of India from 24 August 1969 to 24 August 1974. He also third vice president of India from 13 May 1967 to 3 May 1969. He is the first president to be elected as an independent candidate.
