Uplift Education is a public charter school network, which was founded as the North Hills Preparatory School in Irving, Texas, in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Uplift was founded in 1996 by Rosemary Perlmeter, as one of the state of Texas' first charter schools.
