The benefactor would deliberately leave money where it would be found by people in need

bundle of cash on The Streets of a former pit village were left by Two Good Samaritans , police said.

Since 2014, there have been at least 12 instances of the County of Durham, usually in the amount of £2,000 in £20 Notes .

The Money was always left in plain sight, and often on sidewalks.

The benefactor told the police that they had received an unexpected windfall and wanted to give something back.

One of The Good Samaritan - the both want to remain Anonymous - said that an "emotional connection" to the former pit village, after he helped, the back pay of a resident and wanted", and the friendliness that you get".

"I would like to thank The Good Samaritan for Getting In touch and also for the honest residents of Blackhall who hand The Money in. "

It is not known whether to go to the pair of bundle of money, but each continues found and handed in to the police, to return to The Finder .
