About Twenty Twelve
Hosting the 2012 Olympics is a big deal for London, as evidenced by this comedy series, originally broadcast by the BBC, which follows the Olympic Deliverance team -- the people tasked with having the two-week event go off without a problem. The team has plenty of time before the deadline and 9 billion pounds to spend, so what could possibly go wrong? The Oscar -winner is just one of several stars who has lent her voice to recorded a cover album, in Abbey Road , in aid of Caritas.
It also has two Doctor Who: David Tennant singing with The Proclaimers ' Sunshine on Leith; and Jodie Whittaker , the Yellow Coldplay covered it.
Whittaker's track is out now, with the full album due next month.
Colman's appreciation of mid-90s trip-hop, was so far unknown, but Portishead's debut would have been the album Dummy, a device, in the Dorm room, while she studied at the University of Cambridge and the Bristol Old Vic Theatre school.
