Tsuchiya Kōitsu Life story
Tsuchiya Koitsu was an important artist in the Shin-hanga movement. He trained under the ukiyo-e master Kobayashi Kiyochika for 19 years, and initially focused on works depicting scenes from the First Sino-Japanese War.
