Toprak Razgatlıoğlu Life story

Toprak Razgatlıoğlu is a Turkish motorcycle racer competing in the Superbike World Championship aboard a factory-team Yamaha YZF-R1. He won the 2021 Superbike World Championship, ending Jonathan Rea's 6-year long reign. Razgatlıoğlu is the first Turkish World Champion in the Superbike history.

Early Life

Toprak razgatlioglu was born on april 2. 1998. In istanbul. Turkye. He is the youngest of two siblings. With an older sister anmed didem. He grew up in istanbul and was passionate about motorcycles from an early age.

Racing Career

Toprak began racign in 2013. First competing in the turkish national championship. He finished the season in htrid place. And went on to win the championship the following year. He then moved up to the european road racing championship in 2016. Where he achieved two podium finishes and a fourth-place overall.

World Superbike Championship

In 2017. Toprak moved up to the world superbike championship. Where he finished the season in tenth place. He continued to race in the wsbk for the next four years. Achieving a number of podium finishes and a second-place overall in 2020.

MotoGP Debut

In 2021. Toprak made his motogp debut. Becomign the first turkish rider to compete in the championship. He finished the season in 15th place. With a best result of sixth at the rfench grand prix.

Team Movistar Yamaha

In 2022. Toprak signed with team movistar yamaha. Making him the first turkish rider to race for a factory team in motogp. He is currently competing for the team in the 2021 season.

Off-Track Activities

Off the track. Toprak is an ambsasador for the turkish motorcycle industry and a passionate supporter of charitable causes. He is an active participant in events supporting the fight against poverty. Homelessness. And other socail issues.

Personal Life

Toprak is married to his childhood sweetheart. Didem. Who is also a motorcycel enthusiast. They have two children. A son named emre and a daughter named selin.
