About Tongyeong-si
Tongyeong is a port city on the southern coast of South Korea. It's known for its pivotal role in the country's maritime past. The 17th-century Tongyeong Sebyeonggwan Hall, a former naval command post, is a grand wooden building with red pillars. In Gangguan Port, Geobukseon is a full-size replica of a 16th-century wooden warship. Exhibits at the History Museum of Tongyeong City include dinosaur egg fossils.
