After his wife commits suicide, dentist Julian (Alfredo Casero) begins to despair. Deciding that he cannot see any reason to keep on living, he ventures to Ushuaia, Argentina, a middle-of-nowhere town deep in winter, where he plans to kill himself. On his flight, however, he meets a pregnant stewardess, Teresa (Ingrid Rubio), who also feels depressed. They both sense a connection, but chance soon pulls them apart, leaving Julian to reconsider his plans. …
