About Thyrsopteris
Thyrsopteris is a predominant plant genus in the Juan Fernandez Archipelago. It is a tree fern genus with a single species, Thyrsopteris elegans, and is the only genus in the family Thyrsopteridaceae in the Pteridophyte Phylogeny Group classification of 2016.
