Thomas Somerset, 1st Viscount Somerset Life story
Thomas Somerset, 1st Viscount Somerset was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons between 1601 and 1611. He was raised to the Peerage of Ireland in 1626. Somerset was the third son of Edward Somerset, 4th Earl of Worcester. In 1601, Somerset was elected Member of Parliament for Monmouthshire.
