Colonel Thomas Handasyd Perkins, also known as T. H. Perkins, was an American merchant, slave trader, smuggler and philanthropist from a wealthy Boston Brahmin family. Starting with bequests from his grandfather and father-in-law, he amassed a huge fortune.
