Thomas Charles Fenton Life story
Thomas Fenton was born in 1790, the son of James Fenton of Lovesall in South Yorkshire. His mother was Thomasina Ibbotson of Denton Park. Thomas was commissioned into the 4th Dragoons and went out to the Peninsula in 1809 with his regiment and fought at Talavera and other engagements.
