Coronavirus: South Africa reports the first cases of death as lockdown begins
South Africa has announced its first fatalities due to coronavirus infection, and the cases referred to there have passed the 1,000 mark.
"This Morning we have the South Africans to Wake up with sad news that we now have our first death, the health Ministry said cases as a result of Covid-19," on Friday.
Both deaths took place in hospitals in the Southern Province of the Western Cape .
