They Shall Have Music

Frankie (Gene Reynolds), a New York City street urchin who harbors a love for classical music, finds tickets to a concert by the great violinist Jascha Heifetz. Feeling inspired by the performance, he enrolls at a nearby music academy. The schoolmaster, professor Lawson (Walter Brennan), allows the talented Frankie to sleep in the basement of the troubled school, which is facing bankruptcy.
