Theodore Rigg Life story
Sir Theodore Rigg KBE was a New Zealand agricultural chemist and scientific administrator. He was born in Settle, Yorkshire on 6 April 1888, the son of John Rigg, a merchant and a staunch Quaker, and Hannah. On 20 February 1890 he and his family emigrated to New Zealand.
