About The Woman In Question
In a small British village, fortune-teller Astra (Jean Kent) is found murdered. During the investigation, Detective Lodge (Duncan Macrae) questions Astra's housekeeper, Mrs. Finch (Hermione Baddeley), who portrays Astra in a favorable light. Yet upon speaking with Astra's sister, Catherine (Susan Shaw), and her husband, Bob (Dirk Bogarde), a less appealing image of the victim is revealed.
