About The Throes
The Throes is an indie band formed in 1988 in Northern Virginia. The original lineup consisted of singer/guitarist Bill Campbell, percussionist Harry Evans and bassist Joy Gewalt.

Central African Republic President Touadéra wins referendum with Wagner help
A referendum allowing The President of the Central African Republic (CAR) to run for office as many times as he likes has been labelled a farce by opponents.
Provisional results say 95% of voters backed changes to The Constitution , but critics say turnout was as low as 10%.
