About The Shorts


The Shorts was a pop group from the Netherlands consisting of Hans van Vondelen, Erik de Wildt, Hans Stokkermans and Peter Wezenbeek. The group was formed in 1976, and scored a 1983 international hit with "Comment ça va" produced by Jack Jersey. Last "recorded" appearance is from Sopot Festival 1984.

JK Rowling to release new Harry Potter eBooks

JK Rowling has based the new series on some of the lessons taught at Hogwarts

JK Rowling is to release four new Harry Potter eBooks next month, offering fans the chance to "delve deeper into the rich history of magic".

Rowling's Pottermore website will publish the stories, which will be devoted to all things from the "Wizarding World ".

Each will be themed around lessons studied at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The Shorts are inspired by a British Library exhibition about Harry Potter .

The series will have the name Harry Potter : A Journey Through…, adapted from the audiobook Harry Potter : A History of Magic and inspired by the name of the.

"Prepare to delve deeper into the rich history of magic (be it Our Own Muggle history, or the magical world created by JK Rowling) with this new series of eBook shorts,"

"In addition to exploring the origins of magic through history and folklore, the eBook shorts will also feature notes, manuscript pages and charming sketches as previously seen in Harry Potter : A History of Magic. "

The First two books, released on 27 June, will explore Defence Against The Dark Arts as well as Potions and Herbology.

The third and fourth books, which will be released soon after, will look at Divination and Astronomy along with Care of Magical Creatures.

All four have been illustrated by London-based artist Rohan Daniel Eason and will initially be available in English, French, Italian, and German.
