The Road To Fallujah

This documentary is set in Fallujah, Iraq, which in 2004 was the site of an infamous chapter of the Iraq War. Fighting between American soldiers and Iraqi insurgents resulted in the deaths of many combatants and also an undetermined number of civilians. Filmmaker Mark Manning blends footage of a devastated city with interviews with Iraqis who lost homes and loved ones. He also talks to American soldiers, some of whom regret what they characterize as a doomed mission.
