Asia Bibi, the wing Pakistani Christian woman who spent years in the death after being convicted of blasphemy, says she always believed she would be freed.

Now lives in Canada, she told the BBC that she hoped that she would be able to return to Pakistan One Day .

Ms Bibi has published a treatise, Enfin Libre! (Free at last), written with French journalist Anne-Isabelle Tollet.

In it, she tells of her time in The Prison and their brutal treatment by the guards.

In one of The Most disturbing incidents she tells how she was her neck in a clamp, tightened with a key, and was pulled over on a chain of guards.

the Pakistani authorities dismissed the accusations, saying their claims of torture were "not plausible".

Who Asia Bibi is?

Ms Bibi spoke with the BBC during a visit to France, where they are promoting their new book.

she recalled how in the year 2009, a long-standing dispute with neighbors culminated in a group of local women, accusing them of insulting The Prophet Muhammad.

"My husband was gone was at work, my children were in school, I have to pick the fruit in The Orchard ," She Said . "A mob came and moved off me. They made fun of me, I was very helpless. "

In her book, Mrs Bibi told how they feared for their lives in The Prison with other inmates cried out for her to be hanged. They also remembered the ill-treatment at the hands of prison guards.

"I can't breathe," she writes. "My neck is pressed into the can by a neck-brace, tighten The Guard as he wants with a large key. A long chain drags on the dirty floor; my neck connects on The Guard , the handcuffs, dragging me like a dog. "

Ms Bibi told the BBC that her Christian faith helped her through The Ordeal .

"you said, change your faith, and you will be freed. But I said no. I'm going to live with my sentence. With my faith," She Said .

"I found out from my husband that the whole world was praying for me. And that even the Pope had prayed for me. That made me happy. And I found out, was to pray for the whole world to stop for my misery.

"This gave me the feeling that their prayers would definitely free me. "

Ms Bibi called to free on Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan , someone wrongly accused or convicted of blasphemy, and to ensure that the charges are properly investigated.

"the Innocent should not be punished, for no reason, and the people who should be innocent are in prison, freed," She Said .

"During The Investigation , which should be provided to both parties in question, right, because there are a lot of problems in our investigation procedure. And it is hard to tell who's on whose side. "

Despite her ordeal, Ms Bibi said she still felt positively about Pakistan, and hoped to return there One Day .

"It was My Country that liberated me. That makes me proud," She Said .

"I left of My Own will because I was in danger there. Everything that could happen to me, at any point. So, why did I leave My Country . But I have the same love for My Country in my heart now. I still respect My Country and I want to go to see The Day when I am able to. "

Asia Bibi, the case has sparked protests in Pakistan

she remembered to listen to their suffering, while in prison, the.

"I cried very much. I called for More Than a week for you. Even today, my heart is full of grief for you, and I miss you," She Said .

But, she says she feels no bitterness to those killed called for her.

"I'm not angry, I have forgiven you all from my heart and there is no hardness in me, as patience is in me, for I have learned to be patient, after you leave, my kids said behind," She Said .

Who are the Pakistani Christians are?

most of those convicted of blasphemy in Pakistan are Muslims or members of the Ahmadi community, calling themselves as Muslims, but as heretical by Orthodox Islam.

Since the 1990s, the Christians made have also been sentenced. You make only 1. 6% of the population.

The Christian Church has been by numerous attacks in recent years, leaving many feeling vulnerable to a climate of intolerance.

the data, which is accused by the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) shows a total of 720 Muslims, 516 Ahmedis, 238 Christians and 31 Hindus, under various clauses of the blasphemy law from 1987 to 2017.

the Pakistani authorities say that blasphemy laws exist in many parts of The World , and that all those cases in Pakistan before the courts and due process.

Ms Bibi says in her book that The Christian community scorned and bullied and discriminated against.

But Pakistan says that it is a high priority for the protection of the rights of minorities guaranteed by the Constitution.
