About The Maccabees
The Maccabees were an English indie rock band, formed in 2004 in London. They released four albums: Colour It In in 2007, followed by Wall of Arms in 2009, Given to the Wild which was released on 9 January 2012 and their last album Marks to Prove It released on 31 July 2015.

If the foals are playing on the stage at the Mercury Prize award ceremony on Friday night, front man Yannis Philippakis and his guitar.
The Singer tweeted on Tuesday that he had a "run-in with a knife", which did not leave him to be able to play with images that show the depth of stitches in the Three Fingers of his right hand.

"He's the kind of nicking his hand, like 'Blood Brothers ' type of thing. And I instinctively my hand out to try and stop him from doing what he did.
"I caught the blade and he pulled away, and it was pretty hot, so that it is unlocked just for me. "
The Incident caused a "whole scene," says Philippakis, as he was "spill blood on the white washed walls" of a local Church.
