Perrote had to walk feeling under The Weather and was, when a message popped up on WhatsApp from your manager. They then had Two Days to pack up their equipment, shakes the mild disease, which is already around The Group and yourself on a plane to Paris. Then click on the Eurostar the next day to do it all over again in London. The Merengues tasted the big time before, playing Glastonbury Festival and the opening for The Libertines . On New Year 's eve just gone, They actually went before The Strokes - on the recommendation of guitarist Albert Hammond Junior - in their one-off gig at home, and impressed enough to be invited back for a longer run. "The First Time we met in New York , They were all super nice," explains Ana. "It was such a Special Occasion and she said she loved The Show . "and Then the [WhatsApp] the text on the weekend, Yeah, it was like, 'They [the animals] were super cool in New York ' - this was literally the hardest and coolest of the criticism we have ever received from anyone. "you made us feel really welcome and for this tour, and I don't know if I should say - there was a bit of a fee, so we were able to go On Tour , because it is so expensive. " Coincidentally, The Band pretty much spent a lot of time in the Big Apple in the last year recording their third album, Beautiful Curse , which will be released in April. The record, produced by Jenn Decilveo (The Wombats , Ben Platt and Anne-Marie), continue in the same direction as The First two melodic, jangly indie-pop efforts, but This Time with a more expansive sound. As their confidence grew, They began to guitars to experiment with different E-and keyboard sounds, and inject more authentic Iberian feel to add in The Mix , the US and UK rock 'n' roll references. "It was cool because we had the First Time . We already have quite a lot of tours for Six Years in a row, and with this we have decided to actually stop and really think about it," says Perrote. "Everything felt really different and exciting. We have with different people, and there are a variety of instruments, such as keyboards or just more Spanish [sound]. "A third album will be like, you know; we have already done this, wanted one thing so we will change and test what we liked and how we are in the studio. "So it was a more free experience". the Following Wednesday, planned for the gig at the Camden Roundhouse, Hinds had to dash straight to The Airport to take a flight back to your home city in the time on Spanish radio on Thursday morning. After a short siesta, They then had to start planning for their immediate return to the United Kingdom for the finals of The Strokes , mini-tour at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast on Monday evening. And despite her new-found associations with New York , Perrote says, to shift that there are no plans for any of them, from the Spanish capital to crack America only. "no, no," she says. "We really like it there, and we definitely spend a lot of time there - we have already booked two shows. "But we are also Spanish and we love it too much. " The most Beautiful Curse is on the 3.
