About The Lady Wants Mink
Jim Connors (Dennis O'Keefe), who works a low-level office job at a department store, saves enough to buy his wife, Nora (Ruth Hussey), a nice coat for her birthday. However, when neighbor Gladys (Eve Arden) shows up with a mink coat, it makes both of the Connors upset. Jim feels ashamed that he doesn't make more money, and his disfavor with his job soon gets him fired.
