The year is 1908, and aging adventurer Sam Longwood (Lee Marvin) and his gang of crooked cowboys have been cheated out of a big score by their own cohort, Jack Colby (Robert Culp). After years of searching, Sam finally tracks Colby down and decides to take revenge against his former accomplice.
