Nell Tiscowitz (Miranda Otto) is an aspiring actress who moonlights as a waitress in a strip club. She also has an uncanny ability to communicate with horses, despite being unable to have conversations with men. She then meets the dashing Digby Olsen (Martin Kemp), a rich guy involved in the music industry who can't seem to manage the horses at a stable he purchased.
