About The Cowboy And The Indians
When Gene Autry (Gene Autry) discovers sheep grazing on his land that belong to Native Americans, he confronts the tribe, only to find a young girl who's seriously ill. The town doctor examines her and sees that she's suffering from malnutrition. Further investigation finds that trading-post owner Smiley Martin (Frank Richards) is depriving the natives of their livelihood to blackmail them for a valuable object. Gene decides to help, and challenges the Indian Bureau and an uninterested press.
