Will Broicous (Jack Nicholson) makes a big mistake when he rides into a tiny frontier town. The son of a renowned gunslinger, Will finds himself unfairly targeted by the town's unscrupulous lawman, Jim Kogan (Kent Taylor), who throws him in jail.
