That Midnight Kiss

When Prudence Budell (Kathryn Grayson) returns from musical training, her grandmother, Abigail (Ethel Barrymore), hires Jose Iturbi (Jose Iturbi) to start her own opera company, in which Prudence stars. The company hits a snag when Prudence refuses to sing with the star tenor. When Johnny Donnetti (Mario Lanza) delivers a piano to Prudence, she discovers that he can sing. Complications ensue when she attempts to start both a musical and a romantic partnership with him.
