About Thapsigargin
Thapsigargin is non-competitive inhibitor of the sarco/endoplasmic reticulum Ca²⁺ ATPase. Structurally, thapsigargin is classified as a sesquiterpene lactone, and is extracted from a plant, Thapsia garganica. It is a tumor promoter in mammalian cells.
