Thanos Plevris Life story
Athanasios "Thanos" Plevris is a Greek politician and son of nationalist, neo-fascist author Konstantinos Plevris. He is currently serving as the Minister for Health under the cabinet of Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Plevris is often described as a radical right and islamophobic voice in Greek politics.
Covid: US and France report record daily case rises
The US and France have reported their highest daily rises in new Covid cases since the pandemic began, as the Omicron variant continues to spread.
