Tengku Maimun binti Tuan Mat is the tenth and current Chief Justice of Malaysia. Tengku Maimun was announced as Malaysia's new Chief Justice, succeeding Richard Malanjum who retired in April 2019, in a statement released by the Prime Minister's Department on 2 May 2019.
